Surgical Technologist
What Kind of Work Do We Prepare You To Do? Upon graduation, you will be qualified to sit for the NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing) TECH in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) NCCT Certification Examination. After passing this evaluation, you will be qualified to work as a Surgical Technologist in hospital operating rooms, delivery rooms, clinics, surgical centers and more. As a Surgical Technologist, you'll assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons and nurses or other surgical personnel. Your Allied College training will give you the expertise you need to set up operating instruments, supplies and equipment, prepare patients for surgery, assist the surgeon during surgery, and more.
